Feature Film Casting in and around Kingston, NY
We are hosting an ONLINE open calls for After This Death - a feature film shooting in the Kingston, NY area. We will consider anyone who submits whether or not you have acting experience!
This is a chance to work on a professional film set with award-winning filmmakers. Though we cannot yet share who, the film also stars very exciting actors for the lead roles!

What are you looking for?
The film features so many roles. So anyone interested in auditioning should submit regardless of age, gender, or background. We are looking for people who live in the region and who are genuinely interested in being part of the film. Interesting faces, occupations, vibes, energies….
What if I’ve never acted before?
That is fine! We are looking for real, authentic people.
When should I submit my audition by?
As soon as possible!
When will I know if I am cast?
We are currently casting on a rolling basis, so we cannot give you an exact date. If we are interested in you, you will hear from production.
What if I have a job?
Most of the roles we are casting will require just one day of shooting, so if you are able to take a day off of work for this (paid) day of shooting, this shouldn’t be a problem. Days are long, 12 hours usually, and you cannot come late or leave early.
Will I get paid? How much?
All speaking roles are paid $781/day. All featured background roles are paid $208/day.
What if I don’t live in the area?
You need to be able to self-report to the Kingston area. Please note shoot days are LONG (10+ hours) so we need you to be able to safely get to set early and get home after a long day. Keep this in mind when you apply.
Can I be a background actor / extra?
When submitting, we’ll ask you if you’d also like to be considered for background. If you say yes, we’ll reach out when we have a background role for you!
What about the strikes going on?
The production is in full support of the WGA and SAG strikes. Because of this, we have gladly signed the SAG Interim Agreement, which grants the right to continue production for certain projects who agree to meet the new terms. Click here to verify that we have been granted this agreement.
